Rumor: “Death Stranding 2” is in development

There are rumors that Kojima Productions may already be working on a sequel to Death Stranding and some information that helps confirm whether or not this is true. Director Hideo Kojima himself has not directly admitted much about his studio’s next project, but it is also fairly clear that he is working on an Xbox-funded project.

According to the leaked DuskGolem, “Death Stranding 2” is currently in active development under the Sony umbrella. DuskGolem claims that the new Death Stranding title will be a PlayStation-exclusive title with the internal codename “Ocean,” which may or may not suggest that the game will lean toward maritime travel mechanics, but DuskGolem is not sure if Kojima Productions’ deal with Xbox is by no means new, he said. After the release of “Death Stranding 2,” the company announced that it has not yet decided whether or not it will continue its exclusive deal with Sony.

The success of Death Stranding has practically established Kojima Productions as a capable studio that can stand on its own two feet after Kojima parted ways with Konami, and many rumors are circulating about its next project. On the Xbox side, the studio is developing Project Overdose, a horror game starring Margaret Qualley. But now comes news that another major production is in the works as well.

The first “Dead Space” remake game trailer is still a surprise

The first gameplay trailer for the upcoming “Dead Space” remake has finally been released, and I can tell you this. This is definitely Dead Space. The original “Dead Space” is 14 years old, but in my mind, it looks just like this new video. The enemies, the environment, the ever-so-convenient (and clichéd) “cut off a limb” written in dirty blood on the wall. But clearly, we’ve come a long way. The original version didn’t look bad, but it has certainly aged. The remastered version looks much better, with many technical improvements, including an “intensity director” that dynamically adjusts objects, enemies, environmental effects, and even Isaac’s physical reactions. Gone are the loading screens; Ishimura, where Dead Space is located, is one fully interconnected environment. Kena Bridge of Spirits Steam version is now available, including anniversary DLC
